On Monday 2nd May, Franca hosted a huge dinner dedicated to unusual ingredients. We all went away fit to burst, and I tried several things I’d never even heard of before.

Entré

Kerri offered us a range of different plates to try, including fried goats-cheese balls, artichoke dip, maple-and-burbon chicken, and fennel sausage rolls.

Mains

For main course, Laura served a crocodile sausage on celeriac mash with an emu pie, and fennel and chestnut salads.

Dessert

To close, Franca provided an unusual, Asian-inspired dessert of sticky black rice pudding, sliced fruits and ginger tea.
