M Food March 17, 2012

This month we went with any food that related to the letter M. Mmmm! Franca hosted the dinner on Sunday 4th March. We had smaller numbers that night, and Franca and Andrew were the only cooks.

Entré

To start with, Franca began with a meze, consisting of home-grown figs, fresh bread, olives, egg-plant, dolmades, dukkah-encrusted goats’ cheese, and hummus.

Main

Franca followed-up with a maple-syrup and mustard baked pork-belly on potato mash with a stuffed mushroom.

Dessert

For dessert, Andrew served a mango-mousse tart with macadamia pasty.
