On Monday 4th February, Franca hosted a Summer-themed dinner, with savoury dishes from her and sweet dishes from Jacinta.

Entré

Summer Theme - Franca's Entree (1 of 2) Summer Theme - Franca's Theme (2 of 2)

With seasonal ingredients from her own family garden, Franca started the meal with a traditional bruschetta with tomato salsa, and also some prosciutto-wrapped peach slices.

Mains

Summer Theme - Franca's Main (1 of 2) Summer Theme - Franca's Main (2 of 2)

Franca then produced zucchini-flower fritters, and fresh pasta with a zucchini and ricotta sauce.

Dessert

Summer Theme - Jacinta's Dessert

Jacinta, without the aid of an icecream-maker, made three types of icecream for dessert: vanilla icecream, ricotta and honey icecream, and burnt salted caramel with honeycomb icecream.
