Fruit salad

Assorted vegetables, microwaved to cook then quickly stir fried in butter for the glossy finish. I used carrot, red carrot, cauliflower, green beans, capsicum, broccoli. I think we also added chopped parsley in the stir fry stage.

Hollandaise custard

This recipe was from taste.com.au and looked like custard and tasted fine, but not really like Hollandaise I’ve had in the past. Not sure if it’s because it’s a dodgy recipe or if my first attempt at making it was dodgy. If you’re looking for cafe style sauce you might want to look for a different recipe.
