On Monday 10th June, Franca hosted the dinner on the theme of smoke, with savoury dishes from her and sweet dishes from Andrew. The idea was that dishes could have smokey ingredients, be cooked with smoke, or served with something smokey.

Entré

Smoke Theme - Franca's Entree

The smokey dinner began with Franca’s smoked-almond encrusted baked brie.

Mains

Smoke Theme - Franca's Main

Franca had constructed a smoker in her garage, and then produced a dish of tea-smoked duck with creamy mash and fried pea-sprouts.

Dessert

Smoke Theme - Andrew's Dessert

The final course was a decadent double hit of chocolate, with Andrew serving a smoked paprika chocolate brownie with a scoop of smoked chocolate ice-cream.
